Dispatch Estimates
At T-Shirt Foundry, the general principle is:
"If we have the item in the building, we'll dispatch it the same day".
Below is a further explanation as to how our dispatch estimates (which form the basis of our On Time Guarantee) are calculated. These are shown in your basket before you order and are confirmed on your order confirmation email.
We operate an automated stock tracking system to keep track of the the 1000s of permutations of garment that we supply. The computer system uses the rules below to set the estimated dispatch date. Where we speak about out of stock, this means that the item is either not stocked in the colour/size chosen or it is stocked but all the ones we have been allocated to other customers.
When you add items into your basket, your order falls into one of 4 groups, each with a corresponding dispatch estimate.
- All of the order is IN STOCK, time is BEFORE 2pm
- Dispatch estimate is set as TODAY
- All of the order is IN STOCK, time is AFTER 2pm
- Dispatch estimate is set as TOMORROW (If after 2pm on a Friday then dispatch will be Monday)
- Order is NOT IN STOCK, time is BEFORE 6pm
- Dispatch estimate is set as TOMORROW (If before 6pm on a Friday then dispatch will be Monday)
- Order is NOT IN STOCK, time is AFTER 6pm
- Dispatch estimate is set as THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW. (If after 6pm on Thursday then dispatch will be Monday)
In your basket
The basket will give you full details of your Dispatch Estimate, the type of delivery chosen and when you will receive your order. It will also show which of our guarantees for dispatch and/or delivery apply. Be sure to check this carefully to make sure you have selected the correct service.

We reference this Estimated Dispatch Date throughout the site and in our guarantees. We have reproduced these with the conditions directly below for your convenience.
Order by 2pm for Same Day Dispatch
* stock items only. You will be given an estimated dispatch date in your basket. Guarantee refers to our On Time Guarantee as referenced throughout the site.
On Time Guarantee
± We will meet the dispatch estimate shown in your basket and on your order confirmation email or give you a £10 voucher to be used off a future purchase. There is no cash equivalent. This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights.
Absolute Satisfaction Guarantee
§ Absolute Satisfaction Guarantee applies to single item orders only so please order a sample before ordering in bulk. Bulk orders can only be returned if faulty or your instructions have not been followed. This does not affect your statutory rights. See Terms & Conditions for full details.
